  1. OBJECTIVE:

Bathukamma means ‘come back to life mother’ and it is an asking for Goddess Sati to return. Legend has it that Sati returned as Goddess Parvati and therefore the festival is also dedicated to Goddess Parvati. There are many myths behind this festival.

Day 2: Atkula Bathukamma
Day 3: Muddapappu Bathukamma
Day 4: Nanabiyyam Bathukamma
Day 5: Atla Bathukamma
Day 6: Aligina Bathukamma
Day 7: Vepakayala Bathukamma

Day 8: Vennamuddala Bathukamma
Day 9: Saddula Bathukamma

The festival is also dedicated to Goddess Parvati as it is believed that Goddess Sati returned as Goddess Parvati. The festival is celebrated with joy and happiness as there are dance performances, music, dramas etc.

Diwali as a Harvest Festival Diwali was initially celebrated as the festival of harvest. It is the time when farmers in India reap their harvest and worship the goddess Lakshmi (goddess of prosperity & wealth) by offering her portions from fresh harvest..

SUMMARY: Diwali, the festival of lights, is mainly celebrated in honour of Lord Ram’s return to his kingdom in Ayodhya, after staying in exile for 14 years. He is also considered a Lord Vishnu’s reincarnation, born to end the rising atrocities. He was King Dasaratha’s oldest son and was also his favourite.

  1. SUMMARY: Basic physical standards are mandatory for you to be in NCC because you will attend camps and you will be provided with basic military training. Luckily, you don’t need to be an ace instead if you maintain a basic physique you will get through.

Run for unity: such a run is organized with a specific purpose, i.e., to show unity and peace among the people of different religion. Its purpose may be national and international integration and brotherhood. In some countries run for unity is organized to celebrate their independence
