Pre requisites: This course requires the basic skills of handling basic tools
Course outcomes:
On completion of course the student should be able to

  • Identify the significance of Safety Hazards and preventive methods, and apply them for safe and efficient Laboratory practice.
  • Identify of different wires, cables and apply them for simple House wiring applications
  • Use basic Electronic measuring Instruments
  • Design simple circuit using Electronic components

Pre requisites
This course requires the basic skills of Handling Basic Electronics tools and Components, knowledge of connecting cables and meters
Course outcomes:
On completion of course the student should be able to

  • Identify the significance of Semiconductor Devices in Circuit Building Blocks.
  • Identify Different Diodes,Transistors and Use them to Design Power Supplies for Desired Ratings.
  • Apply the Combination of Diodes and Transistors for Amplifier Applications.
  • Design simple circuit using Electronic Semiconductor Devices.

Pre requisites

This course requires the basic skills of Handling  Basic Electronics  tools  and Components, knowledge of connecting cables and meters

Course outcomes:

On completion of course the student should be able to

  • Apply the basics of transistor to construct amplifiers, oscillators and multi-vibrators and analyze the effect of circuit components
  • Identify different special semiconductor devices and apply the knowledge of special semiconductor devices in special applications
  • Apply the knowledge of semiconductor components in realizing and analyzing wave shaping circuits

Pre requisites

Knowledge of networks theorems and analog communication basic concepts.

Course outcomes:

On completion of course the student should be able to

  • Understand and prove the network theorems on a given network
  • Hands on experience using measuring equipment and CRO
  • Observe and study waveforms of AM and FM radio systems

 

  • Observe and study waveforms of pulse shaping and filter networks and demonstrate principles of Resonance.

Pre requisites

This course requires the basic skills of Handling bread boards and PCB.

Course outcomes:

On completion of course the student should be able to

  • Identify Basic Gates and Logic Families
  • Realization of Boolean Functions using Gates
  • Verification of truth tables of Multiplexers and DeMultiplexers/encoder, BCD decoder.
  • Flip Flops & Timing Circuits Counters & Shift Registers

Pre requisites :

This course requires the knowledge of basic understanding of Electronic Devices and Circuits, Digital Electronics and Analog Communications

Course outcomes:

On completion of course the student should be able to

  • Practice with Simulation software like ORCAD/MULTISIM/PSPICE Environment
  • Design and verify the results of various electronic circuits using Simulation software and verify the result
  • Demonstrate Skills using ORCAD / MULTISIM/PSpiceto simulate Network Theorems
  • Demonstrate Skills using ORCAD / MULTISIM/PSpiceto simulate Modulation Techniques

  • Analyze op-amp characteristics and apply the knowledge of op-amp in basic applications
  • Apply the knowledge of Op-amp in Signal conditioning circuits
  • Design and test the working of Timers, PLL
  • Design simple circuits using op-amp and implement

  • Analyze a Pulse modulation system and interpret the modulated and demodulated waveforms.
  • Demonstrate TDM and FDM process using Pulse amplitude modulation signals
  • Analyze digital modulation and demodulation techniques.
  • Verify the generation and decoding of DTMF signals

This course requires the basic skills of Handling digital circuits and computer.
Course outcomes:
On completion of course the student should be able to

  • Execute programs for data manipulation.
  • Execute programs to perform and arithmetic and logical functions.
  • Write and execute programs to meet a requirement..
  • Implement time delays by writing programs.

This course requires the knowledge of basic understanding of Arrays, Matrices, Analog Communication and Digital Communication.
Course outcomes:
On completion of course the student should be able to

  • Practice with MATLAB Environment
  • Implement programs using Arrays and Matrices
  • Demonstrate Skills using MATLAB to simulate generation of required signal

Pre requisites

Knowledge of instruction SET OF 8086 and keil software.
