- Leaning the operation and safety precautions of lathe and performing certain lathe operations
- Basic knowledge in operating welding equipment and performing some welding operations.
- Basic knowledge in sand preparation for moulds and making the moulds ready for casting operation.
- Safety precautions in operating the workshop equipment.

- Identify and acquire knowledge on working of different parts of Refrigeration and Air conditioning systems.
