About the activity:MITRA means Mind In Training for Right Awareness. Its aim is to teach Anapana meditation to children of age group 10 to 18 years. This program is conducted for 90 minutes. Anapana meditation is the practice of awareness of natural breath. It helps our mental abilities like improves concentration, increases alertness, develops control over the mind, memory becomes clearer, improves decision making ability, mind becomes wholesome and healthy. One becomes full of good wishes for others. It also helps us in decreasing agitation, fear, tension, nervousness and stress.

About the activity: Students participated in group discussion activity. It improves their communication skills and innovative ideas. They are very enthusiastic during their participation.

About the activity: Haritha haram is done by our students. Our students and faculty participated in this activity and planted trees in the campus.
Activity name: Science fair at MLRIT

About the activity: National level science fare is conducted on 28 February 2020 at MLRIT engineering college. Our students demonstrated Marcet boiler and Belt grinder.
Activity name: Smart India Hackathon

About the activity: Students participated very enthusiastically in Smart India hackathon 2017, which is held nationwide, an initiative to encourage the young minds to think out of the box in solving the present-day problems of the society and come out with an optimum solution.

About the activity: Students made projects as per academic regulation guidelines. This project will be done in 5th semester of their diploma course. Various projects have been done by students to suit for departmental and agricultural purposes.

Activity name: Vipassana course
Year: 2019
About the activity: Vipassana meditation is one of the ancient mediation techniques of India. This is the process of self-purification by self-observation. This course is conducted for 7 / 10 days during which the students have to maintain complete silence for the entire period of the course. One begins by observing the natural breath to concentrate the mind. With a sharpened awareness one proceeds to observe the changing nature of body and mind and experiences the universal truths of impermanence, suffering and egolessness.The continuous practice of Vipassana meditation half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the evening after the course helps in gaining the following good habits.Improves concentration, increases alertness, develops control over the mind, memory becomes clearer, improves decision making ability, mind becomes wholesome and healthy. One becomes full of good wishes for others. It also helps us in decreasing agitation, fear, tension, nervousness and stress.
